Aston Spinks – Fine Art Handling was formed by Mark Aston & James Spinks who, between them, have many years experience in the fine art transportation sector, with an emphasis on placing quality of service first. We believe in employing and investing in the best possible staff and, when coupled with our modern fleet of specialist art vehicles, we are able to offer a wide range of fine art logistics throughout the UK, Europe and Worldwide.
From day one our intention has been to keep Aston Spinks a manageable sized company and, by working as a cooperative with international like minded trusted local agents, we can handle shipments worldwide as well as national. We can also focus on looking after the customer base we have rather than constantly trying to acquire new customers. Feedback tells us that the majority of our customer base is attained by personal recommendations, with repeat business guaranteed.
Aston Spinks is a specialist company and requires a hands-on approach by management. Every large project Fine Art Handling takes on, will have a Director or senior member of staff present to oversee proceedings and answer any questions along the way.
For museums and galleries, Fine Art Handling operate museumlogistics.co.uk created and directed by Julian Rout.
We have a strict training policy, with all staff starting off with a six month training course in our warehouse facility working from the ground up, where we hone their packing and handling skills. All staff are security vetted, as we carry out a lot of work in royal residences, museums and government buildings.
